Welcome to the Livestock to Land and everything in between blog.

Comment Policy

We encourage you to share your thoughts as they relate to the topic being discussed.   This is a moderated blog discussion so we will review all comments before posting them.

We want to publish your comments. We expect comments to be focused and brief and that participants will hold respectful discussions. We will not post comments that contain:

  • Vulgar language
  • Personal attacks of any kind
  • Offensive terms that target specific individuals or groups
  • Comments that are clearly off topic
  • Comments that promote services or products (i.e., advertisements)
  • Comments that make unsupported accusations
  • “Spammed” material that has been posted in multiple forums
  • Comments with objectionable avatars attached
  • Comments otherwise deemed inappropriate by the discussion moderators

We ask that reporters send questions to the DNR Public Affairs by their normal channels and refrain from submitting questions here as comments.

We recognize that the Web is a 24/7 medium, and your input is welcome at any time. Given the need to manage state resources effectively, we will moderate submitted comments and post them as quickly as possible, with the goal of posting comments within 24 hours on business days. Once we have a sense of the extent of discussion, we may change this approach and will post any changes on this web page.

Thank you for taking the time to read DNR’s Comment Policy. We encourage you to participate in the Livestock to Land blog and look forward to hearing from you.
